be considering selling one of our trucks and it's kind of a up-and-down yo-yo as always with a small business. thank you. >> thank you. any other speakers? jessica lee. >> hi commissioners, my name is jessica and i'm a corporate attorney turned volunteer for off the grid. i am a recent -- i recently moved to san francisco and learned about off the grid and the food trucks, the booming food truck business here and felt very compelled to get involved and help out especially with the new legislation currently on the tabe >> one point i wanted to clarify, since it's been discussed today. this talk about the 300' radius. much as we certainly do appreciate supervisor wiener's office getting involved and putting insomuch work and time put into it, as he said a big push for this legislation was to eliminate the sort of incidencery discretionary decision-making in the existing legislation that allows the department to make decisions about which foods are fleeting within the 300' radius. so i just wanted to make it clear and put it on the record that the proposed legislation's 300' zone is still a
, but significant steps forward. >> good afternoon, as vice-mayor said i'm ramon lacay yo and i was the only spanish-speaker committee member to 10-11 months until last month we have another spanish committee member, mrs. barria, who i believe is here. i wanted to say a statement from my perspective working with the shelter system and the city and county of san francisco, i think the rules committee should prioritize spanish-speaker appointees because the amount of work, like the vice-chair said, is immense. and there is not enough staff in the shelter system. and sometimes we had to help translating, interpreting and so on and so on. it's true that sometimes we're very strict with the shelters to fulfill the standards of care to be compliant with the standards of care. and recognize the dolores street program who had the right attitude to improve as a shelter and they have a vast majority of spanish speakers and thank you the rules committee for allowing me to serve the community of san francisco. it is very rewarding, challenging work that i think is important. thank you very much. >> tha

. >>> yes. >> when mr. fantastic yo called me after chris hall to say that chris hall had been let go and appellate had been seeking new counsel and in the end when he determined that i was not going to agree to a continuance he said okay, well i guess i'll have to tell chris. not the owner, chris. when i spoke to this attorney today about how he came to be involved in the case whether it was through chris hall he said no it was through bill phases zero and so it may be -- it appears to me based on that chain that even if there is no direct relationship and even if you know, my colleague here has been brought in without his knowledge in a sense, there clearly is a connection between chris hall, bill phases zero and counsel here today. i think that is more evidence of game swingship. >> thank you what is the likely timing of the state certification that you have said think applied for state certification is that what is going on? . >> there is a timing in the state legislation. >>> no --. >> i'm sorry i'm hard of hearing. >>> the state certification of the business such tha
